One Day Excursions To Plan trees

Where to go in Makassar?


Tree Planting in Takalar, is an exiting experience. Support our Reforestation Project and contribute to the global warming mitigation. It is a Community based Project to secure fresh water for the local community and wood from the thinning of branches. Trees will be planted on our project location or on farmers lands who will own the trees.


One day excursion, we will meet you at your hotel on 08.00 to start a traveling along coastal area southward of Makassar. A sightseeing stop at coastal village in Barombong will give you a colorful experience with different impressions. Through out the travelling to the planting location, you will view many different things which typically Indonesian villages. Local wood houses, historical buildings, fishing boats parks, fish market, Tala’ trees, etc. Tala’ trees are palm trees from which they make brown sugar of even traditional liquor.

In Pandala, Takalar you will still see houses of bamboos before we plant Bitti trees. Bitti wood is the raw material in building the traditional sail boat Phinisi. After the tree planting we will visit a villager house for a short cultural communication before we proceed to Puntondo eco lodge for lunch. On the way back, we will go through Punaga beach village with stop for a while to see how local fishermen handle sea weeds, and a stop before the City of Takalar to enjoy boiled corn.

We will arrive at hotel around 17.00 to 18.00 a clock in the afternoon.

Transportation: a convenient mini-buss for a maximum of four travelers.


Guide: an English speaking guide or a German speaking guide for your choice


Prices:

- One person only, Rp. 650.000,-

- Two persons, Rp. 450.000,- per person

- Three persons, Rp. 400.000,- per person

- Four persons, Rp. 350.000,- per person.


Departure: Every day from Monday through Friday
